We are an Irish Jewellery brand that make modern, inspiring & contemporary jewellery accessible. Our collections are designed and handcrafted with love in Ireland, and we think that shows in the pieces.
We make modern, inspiring & contemporary jewellery accessible. Our collections are designed and handcrafted with love in Ireland, and we think that shows in the pieces.
INNER ISLAND was launched in April, 2015 by Jeweler Gemma O Leary. Her journey started through various courses & internships in Canada, Scotland and Dublin. Gemma gained the knowledge and skill needed to realise her dream of starting her own company and creating pieces of quality and beauty. The name INNER ISLAND conveys that each of us has a core sense of self that must be nurtured and protected.
We think design integrity and quality are essential, but that you shouldn't have to pay the world to get it. To achieve this, we work on a separate design story for each collection and all our pieces are made by skilled silversmiths in Ireland using the ancient art of metalworking and combining it with modern technologies.
Gemma is inspired by geometrical forms, frames and structures and is currently exploring jewellery as a sculptural wearable element. The ethos of the brand is to bring a refined, subtle approach to design, starting with simple shapes and introducing unexpected details, with the intention of creating pieces that will surprise and delight with a modern contemporary aesthetic.
Each collection has its own design story.
