REDESIGN YOUR GOLD
Your gold, made again
The ring that no longer fits.
The chain that lives in a drawer.
Gold that holds a memory, waiting to be worn again.
Inherited pieces. Broken chains. The gold you have kept but stopped wearing.
All of it can become something new.
Melted by hand in my South Kilkenny studio and reshaped into a piece made for your life now.
The gold stays. The memory stays. Only the form changes.
HONEST PRICING, BEFORE WE BEGIN
Every piece is quoted on its own, but here is where things start.
Remelt of a plain band
from €450
Your gold reshaped into a clean, classic band.
A full redesign
€600 to €900
A new piece designed with you, priced by style and detail.
Stones are quoted separately.
Final price depends on the weight of your gold, the design, and any stones set. I confirm everything with you before any work begins.
A NOTE ON YOUR GOLD
Bring as much or as little as you have. I weigh it, check its purity, and tell you honestly what is possible. If there is not quite enough, we can top it up with my recycled gold.

Can you keep a stone from my old piece?
Yes. Stones can be removed, kept safe, and reset into your new design wherever possible. What kind of gold can you use?
Most solid gold can be remelted or reset. Send me a photo and I will let you know what is possible. How long does it take?
Most redesigns take around anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks from the agreed design. Slow making is part of the value. What if I am not sure what I want?
That is the best place to start. Bring the gold and the feeling, and we shape the idea together. Is it cheaper to use my own gold?
Not always, and that is worth being honest about. Because the gold is already yours, you are not paying for new material. But a redesign is custom work, made by hand for you alone, and the making is where most of the cost sits. Sometimes it costs a little less than buying new, sometimes about the same. What it always gives you is the one thing a new piece cannot: your own gold, and everything it holds, made to be worn again.Do I need to be in Kilkenny?
No. Many pieces begin with photos and a conversation, and gold can be sent securely by post.Gold remembers.
Let me make it yours again.
